Picnic in the park

Eliza turned 11months old last Friday. I forgot to take a photo on the day, but here is some from the following day (27.11.2010) at our picnic in the park at Watson's Bay with friends Jen and Maxi

Beauty in the bath

These photos were taken by the professional photographer in the family. You can see that Eliza is quite the poser already.

Happy birthday Grandpa

We had a family picnic at Beare Park in Elizabeth Bay to celebrate Tim's (Grandpa) birthday.

Party food ..... yum !

Fleur de Lys luncheon #3

We remain great friends with the couples who we met at Prince of Wales (hence Fleur de lys) ante natal classes. We meet for lunch every couple of months. In November we met at Leah and Daan's place in Surry Hills for a great BBQ. The girls played in the play pen while the adults enjoyed lunch - well, that was the plan...

Florence and Ivy hanging out in baby gaol.

Eliza loved the play pen as she had something to hold on to as she did laps.

Yum cha

We went to Yum cha with our friends Jason and Delyse and Ceri and their kids. Yum cha is a great place for kids because its noisey, there is heaps to look at and no one cares whether you make a mess !

Nanny diaries

Sarah our nanny, and Eliza have been having a wonderful time exploring the neighbourhood and going to some fantastic new places. Sarah emails me photos during the day to let me know what they are up to. It makes me feel as though I'm not missing out on too much while I'm stuck in the office. Here is a selection of photos from the nanny diary in November...

Mummy, these cereal bars are so yummy!

Breakfast at Bondi

Brian, Eliza and I met Brian's friends Jim and Lee for breakfast at Speedo's in Bondi. Jim and Lee were visiting from America and just got engaged on Bondi beach a few days before. The rock was impressive but so was Jim's affection for our little treasure.

Brian and Eliza enjoying the cafe vibe at Speedos.

Daddy's long legs

Eliza seems to have grown long legs all of a sudden - something she must get from her Dad.

Sarah

I started back at work on Oct 18th, and luckily we found Sarah who has agreed to be Eliza's nanny. As you can see, the two of them hit it off from the start.

Peepo

Eliza learned to sleep in her pram while we were in Fiji which was fantatic. So we were able to wheel it round to wherever we were at the time and she would have a snooze...

...although not always !

.

Holidays

This was Eliza's first opportunity to have a swim.
When she wasn't swimming in the pool...

... she was swimming in the sea

or just chilling on the sand.

The Sunset Bar

Brian, Eliza and I had a last hurrah - a week in Fiji - before I started back at work. It was a real holiday - no cooking, no cleaning, no day trips. It was very relaxing.
Here we are enjoying our first day and evening at the Warwick in Fiji.
The Sunset Bar was a winner !

And the view was just like the postcards.

A surprise visitor

Cousin Rebecca came to play

Bathtime

Eliza loves bathtime so much so that we now have a mop stationed in the bathroom !

Father's Day at Mort Bay

Bringing the jolly jumper to a picnic was an inspired idea

as was the decision to bring the champagne !
