My favourite things

Red faces

Eliza is a delightful child, and despite her tender age, is certainly able to tell us when she doesn't like something. She goes very red in the face as she holds her breath and SCREAMS !!!
Eliza has a farewell cuddle with Dan just before he left for Alice Springs. Clearly she doesn't want him to go !

Eliza expressing her definate preference not to go home but to stay at Palm Beach with Great Granny.

Welcome home

Morning tea at Darley Street after Cathryn, Ben, Will and Ally moved back to Sydney - YAY !

Ally Pearson checking out her new house.
Ally is one year older than Eliza and a constant source of new clothes. We'll probably be wearing this outfit this time next year !

Jolly jumper

Cathryn lent us her Jolly Jumper. Eliza was a bit hesitant to begin with...

... but was dancing before long.

Eliza's fourth mirthday

26 April 2010 - Eliza with her biggest fan

Great Gran & Great Aunty Pana

We were SO excited to see Great Gran and Aunty Pana when they arrived home from Brisbane.

GG - you were missed !

As is the Palm Beach way, we lunched on the balcony until late in the afternoon

We went back to see GG and AP before they continued their travels to Melbourne. Eliza gave Pana a stern talking to and asked her to take good care of her Great Grandmother.

Sunsets

These sunsets took place right outside Brian's office window during the last week of perfect autumnal Sydney weather.

The morning ritual

Every morning I wake up

and I wonder what to do next.

I could have a stretch...

... or I could sing out to Daddy to come and pick me up ...

... or I could just roll over and have a bit more sleep !

Unexpected tea party

On Friday afternoon we had a surprise visit from the Rayner girls Kath (left) and Meryn (right). We thought it the perfect excuse for a tea party. The date scones were good !

Brian talks to Kath about the finer points of making icecream in his newest gadget, an icecream maker.

Eliza with Robbie. I think Eliza agrees with Kath and I that Meryn is a lucky girl to be married to this man.

Kath's grandson Grayson was the first baby born in Sydney in 2010 - DOB 01/01/10

Family resemblance

Do I look like my big big brother Cam (above) or my little big brother Nick (below)?

Easter at Palmy

Easter at Palm Beach was very relaxing. We spent a lot of time in our pyjamas (thanks Grossie for the lovely pink ones).

Our friends James, Olivia and Zoe joined us for Easter.

Zoe on an Easter egg hunt with Black Bear to help

The Easter Bunny (Olivia)

The Easter Bunny left Zoe lots of eggs and a set of bunny ears which were given to her so she could practice being a good bunny so that next year she could help the Easter Bunny deliver eggs to other children

Our favourite cousin Sinead came to visit ...

... with our favourite Uncle Chris. It was a fantastic weekend !
