We took a little trip to discover the Dordogne region about 2.5 hours north. Like the five artists we saw on the banks of the river, we thought this historic bridge in the town of Cahors was worth capturing.

Catherine, Brian and the well travelled Eliza hanging out in the square of Sarlat having an aperatif. Sarlat, a lovely creamy stone medievil town, is the gateway to the Dordogne region.

Even the chocolatiers in Sarlat had World Cup fever.

We forgot our rain coats and had to improvise when we visited the town and chateau of Hautefort. The chateau has been retored recently and was quite spectacular.

The gardens at Hautefort - truly amazing !
